Reconsidering neck suspension sutures
Abstract
The author has restricted his use of neck suspension sutures because patient follow-up over time has demonstrated that confining the surgical focus to the superficial neck planes does not produce long-lasting correction. He has discovered that appropriate fat contouring and muscle tightening combined with subplatysmal procedures yield better and longer-lasting results.
