Abstract

We report a case of pyoderma gangrenosum occurring at the site of a laparoscopic port insertion following laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.

Following surgical debridement to clean and healthy tissue, ulceration and skin necrosis rapidly returned with a spreading surrounding cellulitis.
