Abstract

A 35 year old patient with chronic myeloid leukaemia presented with massive lymphadenopathy and unilateral limb oedema, when still in the chronic phase. Four weeks later, she passed into frank blast crisis, despite treatment with busulphan and palliative radiotherapy to the lymph nodes.
