The efficacy of retreatment with the same medication for early treatment failure of bacterial vaginosis
Abstract
Few data exist regarding management strategies for women with early treatment failure for bacterial vaginosis. Cure rates after re-treatment were compared for two topical agents. The overall cure rate was 62%; rates between medications were comparable. Re-treatment with the same topical medication for early recurrence is an acceptable strategy.
