A) Endoscopy of the distal esophagus of a 68-year-old woman with hematemesis who was taking prophylactic acetylsalicylic acid. The image shows sharply demarcated lesions without evidence of bleeding. B) A repeat endoscopy performed 8 days later shows complete resolution of the esophageal lesions.
