Vertebroplasty for osteoporotic fracture? Think twice
Abstract
Think twice before recommending vertebroplasty (VP) for symptomatic osteoporotic compression fractures. New studies suggest that it has little benefit; thus, VP should be considered only after other, more conservative options fail.
