The bar graphs represent the mass ratio of the target message to an internal standard directed towards the same sequence as the target but smaller in length in, from left to right: normotensive (sham) rats with sino-aortic nerves intact; renal wrap hypertensive rats with sino-aortic nerves intact; normotensive rats with sino-aortic denervation (SAD); renal wrap hypertensive rats with SAD.
