Evaluation and management of tricuspid valve disease
Abstract
The four groups of pathophysiologic changes of the tricuspid valve are discussed; these include functional insufficiency, organic insufficiency, stenosis, and congenital defects. A thorough understanding of these underlying abnormal changes has led to the ability to correct malfunction of the tricuspid valve in a reliable manner.
