[Extracapsular extraction of hard cataract with simultaneous implantation of intraocular lens and anti-glaucoma operation]

Abstract

The authors present 7 cases of extracapsular hard cataract extraction with implantation of posterior chamber lens or an intracapsular disc-shaped lens. Because of existing indications they performed simultaneously an anti-glaucoma operation. In all the cases the postoperative IOP persisted in normal limits without any necessity of application of a pharmacological treatment.
