[Prostanoids in treatment of chronic arterial occlusion]

[Article in Russian]
V N Zolkin et al. Angiol Sosud Khir. 2010.

Abstract

The review is devoted to assessment and comparison of efficacy, pharmacological properties, and tolerance of prostaglandin preparations used in patients with various-aetiology chronic arterial occlusion, comparing two main drugs used in Russia and abroad (INN): alprostadil and iloprost, with the both drugs having proved equally efficient in the cohort of patients concerned. However, alprostadil turned out to be more convenient in use, possessing fewer side effects.
