[An experimental study of the reproduction of the Hissar virus (Bunyaviridae) in Argas persicus ticks (Oken, 1918)]
Abstract
When in an experiment the ticks Argas persicus were infected with Hissar virus, virus reproduction in the arthropod was found. The transphasic and transovarial transmission of the virus in the ticks and the possibility of its transmission through the bite to synanthropic birds were proved.
