Western blot analysis of ADAR1 protein in mouse embryos and fibroblasts derived from mouse embryos. Total protein samples from wild-type and ADAR1-KO mouse embryos at the indicated embryonic stages (A) and the derived fibroblasts (B) were probed by ADAR1 monoclonal antibody (gift from Kazuko Nishikura, Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, PA). Knockout cells reconstituted with P150 cDNA also express high level of P110 isoform. (C) Two protein samples from ADAR1-KO fibroblasts transfected with P150 cDNA were immunoblotted for ADAR1.
