Sleep disorders and airway obstruction in children

W P Potsic et al. Otolaryngol Clin North Am. 1990 Aug.

Abstract

Obstructive sleep disorders in children are not rare. Many parents will provide sufficient history to establish the diagnosis. Although there may be many causes of obstructive disorders, the most common in children is adenotonsillar hyperplasia. Aggressive treatment will result in prompt resolution of symptoms.
