Abstract

This article will provide a review of the literature regarding expectant management of ectopic pregnancy. Detailed definitions and methods of evaluation are discussed, as well as pooled existing data on success rates of expectant management. A comparison of expectant management versus other treatment options is provided as well as a review of fertility outcomes after expectant management of ectopic pregnancy.
