[Percutaneous transhepatic procedures for diagnosis and therapy in obstructive jaundice (author's transl)]
Abstract
The techniques of percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography, intubation of the bile ducts for external and internal drainage, application of endoprostheses and removal of biliary tract stones as performed at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology in Lund, Sweden, are described. A flow diagram for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in patients with obstructive jaundice is discussed.
