Conflict of interest statement

I have read the journal's policy and have the following conflicts: YJ is the Data Access Officer responsible for ICGC DACO. ESD is a member of DACO. YJ, BMK (Chair of EPC), MB, and DC (Chair of IDAC) are members of ICGC IDAC.

The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) in Toronto is the host of the ICGC Data Coordination Center (DCC). All ICGC controlled access data is hosted at DCC with the exception of the raw sequence reads (BAM files), which are currently hosted at the European Bioinformatics Institute's (EBI) European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA). Access to these files is coordinated with DCC once DACO approval is granted.
