Since the early 1990's, ultrasound through the development of high-resolution probes in the musculoskeletal system has become more and more important. The development of ultrasound technology has gone hand in hand with the development of know-how in different clinical fields, so that diagnostic ultrasound has now become an indispensable diagnostic tool in orthopedics/traumatology, rheumatology and neurology.
