Fast-tracking investigation and staging of patients with lung cancer
Abstract
Standardized clinical care pathways for the investigation of patients with lung cancer allow for a reduction in the time interval between suspicion of lung cancer and treatment, lower costs, increased patient satisfaction, and quality of care. It may also be associated with a modest increase in survival.
