Linear regression demonstrated that postoperative active movement scale shoulder abduction (upper panel) and external rotation scores (lower panel) correlated with denervation time. Correlation for shoulder abduction was R2 = 0.35 (for a p value of 0.30) and correlation for shoulder external rotation was R2 = 0.89 (for a p value of 0.01), indicating that denervation time appeared to play a more significant role in the final outcome of shoulder external rotation than of shoulder abduction.
