Patient tolerance to interferon: clinical and laboratory assessments
Abstract
Toxicity has been associated with interferon therapy, predominantly in immunocompromised patients. Side effects appear to be dose-related and were difficult to manage. However, interferon was well-tolerated and some of the toxicity may be related to the immunocompromised state.
