Advances in the treatment of pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum: palliative and definitive repair
Abstract
Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum is an uncommon condition and, therefore, its response to various therapies is difficult to evaluate. This article discusses the recent advances in our understanding of the anatomy of this lesion and the emerging surgical approach that has consequently emerged.
