[Relationships between the incisors and the skeletal vertical type of the face]
Abstract
The purpose of this cephalometric investigation is to find out the dental and dentofacial relationships of the incisors with the skeletal vertical type of the face. The material of this study consisted of 200 lateral skull radiographs of an equal number of adult Greeks with normal occlusion and harmonious face. Ten cephalometric variables were measured and statistically analysed. The statistical analysis has been made separately for males and females. The mean value, standard deviation, maximum and minimum values were calculated for each variable. The following three factorial analyse of correspondences leaded to the definition of the existent relationships between the anterior teeth and the vertical facial type.
