Biological markers in haematological malignancies
Abstract
Haematological malignancies comprise a wide spectrum of well-defined entities, and require a risk-adapted treatment. Beside the classical diagnostic tools, haematologists have routinely access to more and more biological markers, which provide different informations about diagnosis, prognosis and targetable status of each individual disease and permit to define a personalized risk-adapted therapeutic strategy. We aim to describe these different biological markers and to pinpoint their accurate role in daily practice.
Keywords: biology; diagnosis; haematology; prognosis.
