Reducing prostate cancer deaths: unsupported speculation about the androgen deprivation hypothesis
Abstract
The reduction in prostate cancer deaths in the European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer is best explained by a stage migration in the intervention arm, resulting in earlier effective treatment of localized prostate cancer compared with controls.
