Bronchoplastic procedures for carcinoid tumors
Abstract
Carcinoid tumors are rare lung neoplasms. They may arise centrally or peripherally. For central lesions, bronchoplastic procedures, particularly sleeve resections, are safe and should be the reference for treatment when anatomically and oncologically indicated, independently from pulmonary function.
