Are proteinases functional molecules of T lymphocytes?
Abstract
Recent studies have shown that activated T cells possess cytoplasmic granules containing a serine proteinase. In this article Michael Kramer and Markus Simon suggest that the regulated release of this enzyme has an important part to play in the activities of T cells, such as B-cell regulation, cytolysis and migration.
