[The collagenolytic activity of bacteria of the genus Bacillus isolated from different ecological sources]
Abstract
The ability to hydrolyze collagen was studied in 262 cultures of spore-forming aerobic bacteria isolated from the soil, human and animal organism, from insects and also of collection strains. 53% of the studied cultures possessed the collagenolytic activity. The most active strains are isolated from the human and animal organism.
