[Surrogacy, yes or no? Case report]

Abstract

Objective: Case study of surrogacy which did not come up to client-couple´s expectation.

Design: Case report.

Setting: Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Uherske Hradiste Hospital a. s., Uherske Hradiste.

Methodology: Description of the case, case study.

Conclusion: In the Czech Republic, missing legislation when subject matter is surrogacy does not allow to make a complex legal contract. This fact causes legal uncertainty to all participants. Irresponsible approach of doctors, surrogate mother, client-couple, and in the upshot care of disabled child at government expense can be results.
