Surgical technique for ptosis repair

Abstract

There are many choices of operation for ptosis repair, but proper classification, diagnosis and an understanding of eyelid anatomy are essential. The anterior levator resection is recommended for ptosis repair with levator function, and fascia lata suspension is described for ptosis repair when no levator function is present.
