In the case of our journal, the Journal of Diabetes Investigation (JDI), the change in the number of downloads before (2012 and 2013) and after (2014 and 2015) the shift to an Open Access journal. The bar graph with the blank in 2015 shows the value of downloads as expected during the 3 months from October to December 2015. It is expected that the number of downloads will increase by approximately 30% during the last 3 months of 2015.
