[Epidemiologic study of patients seen at a regional urology service during a year]

Abstract

An epidemiologic study was performed on all patients seen at the Urology Service of a regional hospital of the National Health Service over a one-year period. The study evaluated the number of patients according to sex, age, where they resided, civil status, diagnosis, and surgical treatment they may have received. Few studies of a similar nature, mainly Japanese, have been reported in the literature.
