Fatty acid-binding renal proteins
Abstract
An apparently unique 15.5-kDa fatty acid-binding protein (FABP) was purified from rat kidney, which also has a second FABP immunologically identical to heart FABP. Differences in the developmental appearance and in changes accompanying disease suggest that these two FABP from kidney are separately regulated.
