Abstract

I should like to correct a misinterpretation in a regional news item in Nursing Standard, week ending May 7, 1988 where it was suggested that General Practitioners are not supporting the above campaign. May I make the position perfectly clear that all members of Primary Health Care teams have responded positively to the aims of the campaign. In particular, General Practitioners have given support to all relevant evening meetings. In addition, a questionnaire asking what form of support they might require for patients received a 95 per cent response rate.
