That's no 'client', that's my relative
Abstract
Very recently, an in-law of mine, a frail man in his 70s, has been a patient in one of the local hospitals. The nursing care he received has made me angry and frustrated, and I have found myself unable to defend the actions of my 'profession' to the rest of my family.

Ask the doctor. For several years now, my lower legs have been painful and somewhat swollen, especially at the end of the day. My doctor says that my veins are not getting the blood back to my heart like they used to, but that it is just part of aging (I am 72 years old). He tells me to put my feet up as much as possible, but that's not very practical when you have a lot to do! Isn't there anything else I could try?Harv Heart Lett. 2000 Dec;11(4):6-7.
