Fltp is a novel marker to distinguish heterogeneity of pancreatic β‐cells. Fltp‐positive and negative β‐cells were sorted out and analyzed, the results suggest that Fltp can be used to distinguish the two subpopulations of β‐cells, of which the gene expression and biochemical characteristics are different.
