Sarcoid myocarditis: a report of three cases

Abstract

Three cases of sudden death occurring in systemic sarcoidosis with myocardial involvement are presented. Sarcoid myocarditis may be commoner than is recognised clinically and widespread sampling is sometimes necessary to establish the diagnosis at autopsy.
