Abstract

A foster mother took into her home Kathérina, a 5-month-old girl placed by the child welfare services. Before taking the decision, she discussed it with her partner and her own children. Straight after Kathérina's arrival, visits were organised in order to maintain, as much as possible, the child's bond with her mother.
