Increased trend in the incidence of diabetes among youths in the USA during 2002-2012
Abstract
The current SEARCH Study concludes that the incidence of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes among youths in the United States increased significantly over the period 2002-2012, particularly in minority racial and ethnic groups. Environmental and behavioral factors play an important role in developing both types of diabetes.
