Practical diagnosis and treatment of allergic and nonallergic rhinitis
Abstract
Allergic and nonallergic rhinitis is a common chronic disorder affecting children and adults. Effective treatment includes a variety of pharmacologic agents: antihistamines, sympathomimetics, cromolyn, corticosteroids or parenteral immunotherapy. Correct diagnosis is crucial for selecting appropriate and beneficial therapy.
