(b) Acute vasculitis: medium-sized artery showing endothelial swelling, fibrinoid necrosis, and a mixed inflammatory cell infiltrate composed of neutrophils and lymphocytes. (c) Polypoid lesion with a maximal diameter of 2.5 cm at the gastroesophageal junction that is suggestive of an adenocarcinoma at the gastroesophageal junction.
