Abstract

The first case of primary isolated extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP) of the duodenum is reported. The features which differentiate primary isolated EMPs from EMPs associated with multiple myeloma are discussed. The prognosis for a primary isolated EMP of the gastrointestinal tract is uncertain.
