Update on acne

Abstract

In summary, the therapy of acne has to be individualized according to the nature of the lesions. Noninflammatory acne requires a different therapeutic approach from that for inflammatory acne, and even among those with inflammatory acne, there can be a difference in the therapeutic approach, depending upon the extent of involvement. Attention to the principles of therapy will be a great aid in the success of the therapeutic program for acne.
