E = early (around week 9) invitation to daily balanced food supplementation, 600 kcal, 6 days per week; U = the usual timing (around week 20) of start of this food supplementation; Fe30Fol = 30 mg iron and 400 µg of folic acid; Fe60Fol = 60 mg of iron and 400 µg of folic acid; MMS = multiple micronutrients containing a daily allowance of 15 micronutrients, including 30 mg of iron and 400 µg of folic acid.
