Structure of the GHR1 Protein With Predicted Functional Domains. Mutant alleles identified from two independent forward-genetic ozone sensitivity screens allowed analysis of how the protein domains contribute to GHR1 function. ghr1-17 resulted in a truncated protein lacking most of the kinase domain. ghr1-7 and ghr1-8 mutant alleles caused nonsynonymous mutations of key residues required for SLAC1 activation (Adapted from Sierla et al. [2018], Figure 6).
