Abstract

The author describes nine cases who presented with supratentorial arachnoid cysts. The clinical pictures, diagnostic techniques, physiopathological hypotheses and therapeutic aspects are discussed. Additionally the value and use of computerized axial tomography in the diagnostic procedure are evaluated in the article.
