A 71-year-old female with severe frostbite bite of her right foot and hand successfully salvaged with thrombolysis. (a, b) Pre-operative photographs of left and right hand; (c) pre-treatment angiogram of the patient’s right hand showing perfusion deficits to right thumb, index and middle fingers and retrograde filling of the right radial artery; (d) photographs 2-months post tPA treatment without any deficits on examination of the hand; and (e) angiogram of patient’s right hand after 24 hours of intra-arterial tPA infusion revealing restoration of right index and middle fingers, right thumb and radial artery perfusion.
