Abstract

In the present paper the following problems are reviewed and discussed: 1. interrelations between structure and antiviral activity of polysaccharides, 2. antiviral activity of polysaccharides and their possible mode of action, 3. perspectives of using the polysaccharides for the limitation of plant and animal infections.
