Arrhythmias are common after pulmonary resection. They often complicate the patient's recovery and can have an effect on the short-term and long-term prognosis. The aim of the following review is to give an overview of risk factors, prevention and therapy of arrhythmias following lung surgery.

Herzrhythmusstörungen gehören zu den häufigsten Komplikationen nach Lungenresektionen. Diese verzögern oft die Rekonvaleszenz und können sich auf die kurz- und langfristige Prognose der Patienten auswirken. Die vorliegende Übersichtsarbeit konzentriert sich auf die Pathophysiologie, die Risikofaktoren, die Prävention sowie die Therapie insbesondere des Vorhofflimmerns bei Patienten nach Lungenresektionen.
