Nadolol is a nonselective β-blocker and an inverse agonist, which is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for managing hypertension and angina. These 2 conditions are major risk factors associated with various cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and stroke. The drug's pivotal role in these conditions improves patient outcomes and helps mitigate the progression of cardiovascular disease.
