Personalized medicine is the choice of treatment based on the individual characteristics of the patient due to genetic and environmental factors. The latter are to a certain degree determined by an ethnic group. This article discusses ethnic aspects in the structure of the maxillofacial area, the prevalence, development, treatment and prevention of dental diseases.

Персонализированная медицина - выбор лечения, основанный на учете индивидуальных особенностей пациента, обусловленных генетическими и средовыми факторами. Последние в свою очередь в значительной мере определяются принадлежностью индивидуума к определенной этнической группе. В статье обсуждаются этнические аспекты в строении челюстно-лицевой области, распространенности, развитии, лечении и профилактике стоматологических заболеваний.
